The next item comes under the "Something extra fun" catagory: Last week we had the pleasure of assisting Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull's flutist and singer) and Ian's bass player on the "Rubbing Elbows" tour David Goodier, in obtaining a 3/4 size double upright bass for the Kalamazoo show...for those who were fortunate enough to attend one of these rare evenings, the show was an intriguing departure from the rock concert format, and might just have been a once in a lifetime opportunity for fans of the amazing Tull legacy www.jethrotull.com to enjoy an intimate evening with Ian, some funny stories, some excellent musical explorations, and all in an acoustic setting...truly a memorable evening...AND, to top it all off, at the show we also connected with Michigan musicians Tim Staudacher (who provided the beautiful Reiley bass for the show) and Bruce Dauser, violist...one thing led to another, and we are now planning to feature Tim and Bruce (both well respected for their classical work) on strings on 3 or 4 songs on the new CD...
